How do I register an account? 

Registering and account is simple and easy. Click the link above to watch a simple video explaining how to download the free iOS app and purchase the Hitting Approach cloud in which you will need to see all of your hitting and pitching data.

How do I add and manager a roster on the Hitting Approach cloud?

Hitting Approach gives you the option of managing the roster from the iOS app and from the Hitting Approach cloud website. Click on the link above to see how to manager your roster easily from the HA cloud.

How do I manager opposing rosters on the Hitting Approach cloud?

Hitting Approach allows you to scout opponents by accumulating date on your opponent both when your team plays them, as well as when you log two opponent’s games with the Score two Opponents mode on the iOS app. In order to organize and keep track of your opponent’s data, you will need to enter your opponent’s roster(s). Can I create separate seasons for my team?

Yes. Creating multiple seasons is easy. Many coaches use the Seasons Feature to differentiate between fall, spring, and summer seasons, or utilize seasons for coach pitch and machine pitch scrimmages, intersquad seasons, and more. Be creative. Hitting Approach was designed to be flexible so you can log hitting and pitching data in a variety of different formats and times of the year. How can a coach review their player’s plate appearances? Can they easily comment on their hitter’s AB’s?

Yes. Reviewing your hitter’s postgame report is easy—and so is providing your player with feedback. Players can be sent their postgame reports as soon as the game is finished and is synced with the cloud. Here’s how: End Game and send Postgame Report to Players). Once players fill out their postgame, coaches can edit their responses, or add notes in the Coach Notes text box. Once the coach is finished, click save and the player will be sent an email notification that their postgame report has been updated. Click the video above to see how easy the process is!

How do I send hitters and pitchers their postgame reports after the game?

Click end game to finish logging the present game. When the device that you are logging the game is on is connected to the internet, it will automatically sync the data with the Hitting Approach Cloud. Once the data is synced, sign into the HA Cloud website. Click games; choose the game from which you would like to send out postgame reports, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “send players their postgame report.” Click the link to see a short video.

How do I make sure that a player’s data is imported form one season to the next?

Coaches and players need to see trends and improvement in data from one season to the next. Hitting Approach makes this process easy by allowing coaches and players to import players from one season to the next—also eliminating the need for a coach to rebuild their roster every season.
